Piper Longum (Indian long pepper). Pippali stimulates the digestion and respiratory ducts, and energizes and cleanses the body and is regarded by Ayurveda as an rejuvenation agent. It is used together with black pepper and ginger powder to produce Trikatu - the most important metabolic stimulant used in Ayurveda. It rejuvenates Agni, burns Ama and supports the assimilation of nutrients. It is used like black pepper.
