Methia Spice Blend, conv.

Be careful - very hot! This mixture of fenugreek, chilli, asafoetida (Hing), rock salt and cumin is fiery and should only be used sparingly. Methia stimulates and improves the digestion of food. Heavy meals such as casseroles, souflees or those baked with melted cheese should be spiced with this mixture. Methia supports the whole metabolism.

When this is weak, for example with Kapha constitution, then it can be used more often (but in small amounts).  In addition, Methia is warming and so is especially good in winter. However, those with a strong Pitta constitution should avoid this mixture.
